The dates for this term and next term are; Catholic Education Sunday—6/7th February—St. Andrew’s Primary and Turnbull High School will assist with the Liturgy at 10.00 a.m. Mass A member of the Turnbull Staff will speak about the importance of Catholic Education. The second collections are for the Catholic Education Service. Liturgy Coordinators meeting—in preparation for Holy Week and Easter on Tuesday 9th February at 7. 30 p.m at the presbytery. White Lily Disco—a ‘60s/70s’ Disco to help White Lily Fund for Cancer Research to reach it’s target this year. Fish Supper buffet included- Bar– in the upper hall on Saturday 20th February. Tickets £12 from Lorna Donnelly 942 0696 or Margaret Carvill 942 6284. New Rotas—For cantors, Organists and all musicians are at the cupboard beside the organ for collection. Coffee Morning in aid of the Homeless: Today after 10.00 a.m. Mass—Tea, coffee and cakes will be served in the Upper Hall after 10.00 a.m. Mass in support for Poverty & Homelessness Action Week. The funds raised will be sent to the Scottish Churches Housing Action, the body which represents the collective will of all of the main churches in Scotland in seeking to alleviate the terrible situation of the homeless. Contributions of baking are warmly received prior to the 10.00 a.m. Mass—no nuts please. Catholic Truth Society—Please browse among the new selection of booklets and leaflets on the CTS stand behind the main door. Come and buy!! There is also a range of Catholic newspapers available at the piety stall. Area Leaders—Meet on Monday 8th February at 7.30 in the Lower Hall Messengers—Meet on Monday 8th February at 8.00 p.m. in the Lower Hall. Ash Wednesday—17th February—Blessing and Distribution of Ashes at 10.00 a.m. and 7.00 p.m. Masses.
