St Andrews Primary School 40th Anniversary—Thanksgiving Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday the 16th June at 7pm in St Andrews Church. The Principal Celebrant will be Mgr. John Gilmartin, Vicar General of the Archdiocese of Glasgow. All parents, pupils, and staff, past and present and all Parishioners are most welcome to the Mass and also to the Reception in the Upper Hall.

Legion of Mary—Day of Thanksgiving will be celebrated with Mass, Benediction and Rosary Procession out of doors at Carfin Grotto on Sunday 20th June, 3.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m. A coach will leave Douglas Street Carpark Milngavie for Carfin at 1.30 prompt and will return from Carfin at 6.00 p.m.. arriving back around 7.00 p.m/7.15 p.m. to Douglas Street Car Park Milngavie. S1 Cantors and Young Musicians Rehearsal for St. Andrew’s 40th Anniversary Mass—There will be a rehearsal for all S1 cantors and young musicians involved in the Mass. Terry Grogan—Died 29th May 2010 R.I.P. —Died 29th May 2010 R.I.P—Jo and children would like to thank the Reverend Father Donnelly and Deacon, Susan Morris (cantor), Adrain (organist) Norah Mochan, Joe Lynch & Kevin Obeh (readers) for the Requiem Mass celebration of Terry’s life. All the Mass cards and condolence cards we have received from friends and parishioners have helped to comfort us in our grief and we will remember you all in our prayers. Over £300 was donated to cancer charities, half each to the Macmillan nurses and half to Marie Curie Cancer Care. Again, many thanks to you all. Joe Grogan

Limex—Interest in deepening your understanding of the faith and relating it to life? The Archdiocese in partnership with Loyola University, New Orleans, offers an enriching and challenging opportunity to study and learn with others to Certificate or Masters level. There will be a ‘no obligation’ information evening on Monday 28th June 2010 at 7.00 p.m in Eyre Hall, Archdiocesan Offices, 196 Clyde Street G1 4JY, to meet with facilitators, former students and one of the course directors from Loyola University, New Orleans.
